Mundango

Mundango is a bingo-style game about enjoying the small things in life. During a recent unpaid work hiatus I got a lot of enjoyment out of noticing little micro-moments of awe – seeing a cool bird, hearing a cool song, or chatting with an old friend – so when life in the workforce resumed I thought it’d be fun to make a little casual game about finding those moments.

To make it a bit more fun, I went with a hand drawn logo, doodle icons, and a handwritten font. If you have your speakers turned up, you’ll hear a little Japanese pentatonic scale play as you check off items. I also tried to make the game a bit more inclusive, allowing folks the opportunity to opt-out of different activity sets that might be a visual, motor, or aural mismatch for folks.

Each day greets you with a new game board, so I hope you find it fun to find the small moments in life.
